Short Bytes: Intel has finally launched its first processors from 8th Generation Core family. Named Kaby Lake Refresh, these 4 new CPUs come with 40% performance improvement, four cores, and eight threads. The first machines powered by these CPUs will hit the market in September. It should be noted that, later, 8th generation will also offer CPUs based on upcoming 14++ (Coffee Lake) and 10nm (Cannon Lake) architectures.  J ust like Google’s Android O announcement, Intel has aligned its next-generation processor launch with today’s solar eclipse. For the first time, Intel has announced the processors from its 8th Gen Core CPU family. This new release comes in the form of four 15W U-series mobile processors with max clock speed of 4.2GHz. Compared to the 7th generation’s two cores and four threads, new chips have four cores and eight threads. Intel has also claimed that the new Kaby Lake refresh chips will deliver 40 percent performance boost over their 7th genera

Many of them think the official name for Android O would be Oreo. But there are other possibilities as well, including Ontbijtkoek, Oliebol, Oatmeal Cookie, etc. According to a file (now deleted) spotted by Android Police , Android O’s name may have been revealed accidentally. The video file named “GoogleOreo_Teaser_0817_noDroids (1).mp4” is an eclipse-themed Android O teaser. Solus 3 is powered by Linux kernel 4.12.7, which promises improvements to AMD, NVIDIA, and Intel hardware. A notable change in Solus 3 comes in the form of support for Snaps package management system. I n late 2015, Solus Linux distro witnessed its first stable release. From then, it has gathered a loyal following, thanks to its beautiful looks, impressive out-of-the-box experience, and  beginner-friendly  nature.
