Crowdsourcing and NASA's new Challenge on wearable App...!!

                  CROWD + OUTSOURCING= CROWDSOURCING
Shortly called as distributed online problem-solving model. CrowdSourcing is the business term means, grouping people online as a community and getting help from them as a challenge. We could relate the term Crowdsourcing with the two terms,

1. "MODULARITY": In Computer Science when the work or project to be done is big then we may break those into smaller modules that are given to different individuals to work on.The same is Crowdsourcing where the required need will be serviced by the different people who belong to the community.
                  
2."MULTIPLEXING/DEMULTIPLEXING": It is the process of combining more signals into a single signal and decomposing a single signal into multiple signals respectively.Similarly Crowdsourcing is a process of splitting a work among many individuals in a community and grouping all those individual's work into a complete product.

3. 99Designs
4. Kraft etc.,

NASA's CHALLENGE:

    Now NASA is developing some wearable applications and interplanetary internet through Crowdsourcing. Recently NASA have announced a challenge of designing a "Astronaut Smartwatch".Its application include,
1.Crew Timeline - The one more similar to social media timelines which shows the agenda.
2.Cautions and Warnings - This provides colour coded warnings that requires attentions of astronauts. Its something a kind of alarm system.
3.Communication Status - This gives information like whether space station is able to communicate with ground station through means like voice or video.
4.Timers - This should provide time limits for any activity and should divert astronauts attention towards completing the activities.
5.And also it should provide feedbacks.
  Once the interface design of this is a success then NASA would launch a new community for implementing the successful design.

An engine operates by burning a fuel-air mixture, which expands and exerts pressure. If more air is introduced, the pressure on the piston increases, resulting in greater power output. This process is known as cylinder charging. However, in a naturally aspirated (non-turbo) engine, there is a limit to how much cylinder charging can be increased under atmospheric pressure. Various methods have been developed to improve cylinder charging efficiency. Why does cylinder charging decrease? In a 4-stroke engine, the fuel-air mixture enters through the intake valve during the intake stroke. The intake valve opens to allow air to enter the cylinder and closes at the end of the stroke.
