One of the most expected gadgets has finally arrived. After the launch of SIII last year, people are now waiting for the ultimate Android smart Phone that could beat SIII. It could only be Samsung Galaxy SIV. Samsung announced its Galaxy SIV at Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 16, 2013. Samsung also announced that the smartphone will be available in India by April 26th of this year. The Galaxy SIV is very popular as it is the most expected smartphone till date.

Basic Features

Powered by Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It is the first smartphone from Samsung to have the 4.2 Jelly Bean version of the Android Operating System. It is also said that it will be upgradable to Android Key Lime Pie which is set to release by Google on May 15.
Display – The display is 5.0″ Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16Million colors. It also has a superb resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with about 441 ppi pixel density. It uses TouchWiz UI v4.0. It also uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for more protection.
Processor – Galaxy SIV is powered by an 1.6 GHz Exynos 5 Octa-Core Processor. This is the first smartphone to have an Octa-core Processor. It also has PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU for more display clarity.
Memory - Internal memory in ranges of 16/32/64 GB storage and 2GB RAM which is more than enough. External storage through microSD card upto 64 GB.
Camera – Primary: 13 MP of 4128 x 3096 pixels with autofocus and LED flash. Some of camera features are Dual Shot, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization, HDR. Secondary: 2 MP with 1080p@30fps.
Battery – Galaxy SIV holds an Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery.

Design and Build – It is only 7.9mm deep which makes it a thinner smartphone and it is only 130g in weight.

Wireless Charging – In Galaxy SIV wireless charging is possible. It is the third smartphone to have wireless charging followed by LG Nexus 4 and Nokia Lumia 920.
S Voice - You will be able to control your phone with your voice. It responds to your voice. Reads out text messages.
TV-out – Now you can watch all your videos directly on your TV and Galaxy SIV has an MHL 2 A/V link
Photo Editor – It also holds inbuilt photo editing app which lets you to edit your photos without using third-party apps.
Dropboxing – Galaxy Grand and Galaxy SIV offers 50GB of free Dropbox space.
Floating Touch – Floating touch was introduced by Sony in Xperia Sola. This feature enable to make selection without touching the screen.
Glove mode – This mode enables you to use touchscreen while wearing gloves.
NFC – SIV will be the first smartphone to have NFC in Samsung’s range of smartphones.

Pricing

The Galaxy SIV is priced around Rs.43490, which is relatively high compared to other top edged phones. Let’s hope Galaxy SIV’s price will drop in future.
