Source Locator
When you install an
extension or a web app inside Google Chrome, the .crx file is unpacked
and stored inside the user’s profile folder. Anyone can view the content
of this folder to understand how the corresponding extension works.
The Extension Source locator add-on helps you quickly determine the folder where the files of any particular add-on is stored on your local disk.
The add-on replaces the “New tab” screen of your Chrome with a list of all extension that are currently installed inside your copy of Chrome. Click the “Copy to Clipboard” button to copy the full path of the folder to the clipboard.
It even lists the path details for extensions that are deactivated inside your copy of Chrome.
